The name Nividas

derived from Esperanto's "we see," a language created to unite and enhance exchange between different cultures and countries.

Material

Many of our glasses (all except the metal ones actually) are made from a material known as acetate in eyewear terminology.

The acetate we use is a type of plastic derived from plant cellulose. This material is kneaded, colored, and blended to achieve the color and texture of the eyeglass frame.

Sustainable Materials

A significant portion of our glasses and sunglasses are made from a new material that is not only plant-based but also capable of biodegrading naturally. What does this mean?

It means that the material, once it has served its purpose as eyewear, can not only be recycled but also be absorbed back into nature.
